Handicap Matchplay Competition in three divisions. Maximum Handicap: 28.
 
QUALIFYING STABLEFORD ROUND
A qualifying Single Stableford round in three divisions based on age on day of qualifying. The best 24 Single Stableford scores qualify for the first round of handicap matchplay. Qualifiers will be placed in three divisions of eight depending on the ages of the participants. Note: Age Groups may differ each year.
 
HANDICAP MATCHPLAY
All rounds will be played on Saturdays in the reserved tee times, either from 8.00am (morning) or from 11.00am (afternoon).

Players may decide, by mutual agreement, to play either ‘morning’ or ‘afternoon’ – in the event of them being unable to agree; if the playing date is an ‘even’ date ‘morning’ times will have prerogative, while ‘afternoon’ times will have prerogative on ‘odd’ dates. The finals will all be played from 11.00am regardless of the date.

The matches are all handicap matchplay based on each player’s course handicap on the day of each match. The player with the lowest handicap reverts to scratch and his opponent plays off the difference between their course handicaps.

PRIZES AND TROPHY
The winner of the oldest section receives the ‘Veteran’s Cup’.
(There are no trophies for the other section winners.)

RULES
Single Stableford competitions for Men and Women in the field between 7.15am and 12.30pm on Anzac Day. Maximum Handicap: Men (28); Women (36).

ENTRY
Entries remain open until Saturday’s qualifying round. All entrants must have paid their subs and match fees.

QUALIFYING NET MEDAL ROUND
Qualifying - blue tees - the best 16 net medal scores up to a maximum course handicap of 28.

RULES
The matches are all Handicap Matchplay based on each player’s course handicap on the day of each match. The player with the lowest handicap reverts to scratch and his opponent plays off the difference between their course handicaps.

Open to full-playing men members (and selected under-21 junior members) with course handicaps up to 7 as at the close of entries.

ENTRY
Entries close at 5.00pm on the Friday one week before the first (Saturday) round of the competition.
After entries close playing partners are drawn around 6.00pm, in the Clubhouse lounge.

RULES
A 72-hole Strokeplay event is played over 2 consecutive weekends. 18-holes on Saturdays and 18-holes on Sundays.
All rounds are medal (no handicaps) played off blue tees.

TROPHY
Winner receives the Senior Championship Cup.

RULES
The competition is a Handicap Foursomes 36-hole event played on a Saturday.
Maximum course handicap: 28
Played from the blue tees; optional teeing-off order for each round.

TROPHY & PRIZES
The best gross winners receive the Foursomes Championship Shield. Prizes are given for best overall net, best morning gross, best afternoon gross, best morning net and best afternoon net.

9-hole Net Medal Shootout

QUALIFYING
The winners of the monthly medal events (February-September), from both Division One (less than 15 course handicaps) and Division Two (16-28 course handicaps) automatically qualify for the Monthly Medal Shoot-out event on Saturday 24th November 2018.
If, in a particular month, a winner or runner-up has already qualified, the runner-up to that person will qualify for the shoot-out.

RULES
The competition is an 9-hole Net Medal shoot-out, played in two groups of eight. The player with the highest net score is removed from each group per hole. After the 6th hole, each group will have two competitors remaining. The four competitors come together to play the remaining three holes. The player remaining after the 9th hole will be crowned the winner. 

PRIZES
The Winner and runner-up receive vouchers from the event sponsor, Prodrive.

Four-Ball Handicap Matchplay Competition

ENTRY
Entries close at 5.00pm on the Friday one week before Saturday’s qualifying round.

After entries close partners are drawn on that Friday, around 6.00pm, in the Clubhouse lounge, in full view of members. Both qualifying teams are drawn from two equal pools of high and low handicaps.

QUALIFYING Best-Ball Stableford
Qualifying occurs, in reserved times, either ‘morning’ (from 8.00am) or ‘afternoon’ (from 11.00am), on the Saturday, one week after the draw. Competition – best ball stableford.
The qualifiers are also entered into the day’s event which is also pairs best ball stableford (Four-Ball BB)
The top 16 pairs from qualifying are drawn to play in the 1st Round; 1st qualifiers v 16th qualifiers, etc.
There is no consolation field.

RULES
The matches are Four-Ball Handicap Matchplay. The lowest handicap in the group reverts to scratch and others reduce accordingly.

The handicaps are frozen for the entire event based on qualifying day handicaps. Maximum Handicap of 28.

All matches are allocated morning or afternoon times based on the date (and therefore whether it is morning or afternoon dominant). 

The final is played at 11.00am regardless of the date.

Maximum handicap of 28. The best 8 scores qualify.

The matches are Combined Stableford Matchplay, based on current handicaps for each round.
Strokeplay rules apply - Scored using Matchplay format after each hole. E.g. On 1st hole Pair A score 7 points & Pair B score 8 points. Pair B go 1 up and so on.
Rounds will be played on both days of two consecutive weekends in the reserved tee times, either from 8.00am (morning) or from 11.00am (afternoon).

White tees - the best 16 net medal scores. The Golf Committee has the ability to adjust this to top 8 qualifiers, dependent on the number that have signed up prior to the qualifying date.

The matches are all Handicap Matchplay based on each player’s course handicap on the day of each match. The player with the lowest handicap reverts to scratch and his opponent plays off the difference between their course handicaps.

All rounds will be played on Sundays in the reserved tee times, between 8.30am and 9.30am.

The top-8 pairs are drawn to play in the 1st Round; 1st qualifiers v 16th qualifiers, etc.

RULES
The matches are Combined Stableford Matchplay.
Strokeplay rules apply - Scored using Matchplay format after each hole. E.g. On 1st hole Pair A score 7 points & Pair B score 8 points. Pair B go 1 up and so on.
All rounds, including the final, will be played between 8:30am and 9:30am on Sundays.

QUALIFYING
Qualifying, on blue tees, divided into four divisions:
• Senior: less than 8 course handicap,
• Intermediate: 8-13 course handicap
• Junior: 14-18 course handicap
• C-Grade: 19+ course handicap.
The best 8 (gross) medal scores in each section qualify for the 1st round of matchplay.

RULES
Matchplay rounds will be played on Saturdays in the reserved tee times, either from 8.00am (morning) or from 11.00am (afternoon).
The matches are all 'off-the-stick' Matchplay - no handicaps.

Players may decide, by mutual agreement, to play either ‘morning’ or ‘afternoon’ – in the event of them being unable to agree; if the playing date is an ‘even’ date ‘morning’ times will have prerogative, while ‘afternoon’ times will have prerogative on ‘odd’ dates. 

FINALS
Senior and Intermediate finals (18-holes) will all be played at 11:00am.
Junior and C-Grade finals (18-holes) will be played at 11.07am.

PRIZES
There are no trophies for any of the sections.

Throughout the playing season...

15 points are allocated every Saturday to the best five scores across all divisions in the “day’s event” (after any necessary count-backs); also members that play in Club matchplay events receive one point per match won.

  • 1 point for 5th place.

Throughout the playing season...

For each full-playing member the best gross score for each of the 18-holes is selected from all his Saturday rounds during the “playing season”.
At the end of the season, 50% of each member’s course handicap (on the last Saturday of the “playing season”) is deducted from the 18-hole best gross to create the 18-hole best net (eclectic) score.

PRIZES
The winner receives the Grant Taylor Eclectic trophy.

Best gross score in the Saturday field, in each of the four divisions (Senior, Intermediate, Junior & C-Grade).
The first person to record a specific total is the holder until his score is bettered.

Men's Competitions:
Open to Full-Playing Men Members only whose membership subscription and match fees are current (paid up).
Maximum Handicaps:
Players with greater handicaps may enter, but must play to the specificed maximum handicap for the event.
Golf Shop Credits may be redeemed for goods to the value of one dollar per Credit. Credits may be redeemed only at the Club Golf Shop and only for goods — not cash.
